Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) provide more detailed advice or guidance on the application of policies in the East Riding Local Plan. The draft masterplan SPD has been prepared to guide the development of Local Plan housing allocation DRF-I and will provide for around 360 new homes.
Important issues on which the masterplan provides further guidance include:
· Transport and access
· Landscape, ecology & heritage
· Ground conditions, air quality, water management & noise
· Community facilities, housing need & design
Once adopted, the masterplan will become an important consideration in determining relevant planning applications on the site.
