The East Riding of Yorkshire Council, like every other local authority in the country, has to make a huge reduction in spending due to central government cuts and unavoidable budget pressures.
The council would like to know your thoughts on the proposals to help inform new charging arrangements for care services for adults and carers. The Care Act 2014 has given all councils areas of discretion for charging, and returning the questionnaire in the online form / pdf above will ensure that your voice and views are heard. Your response will help the council decide which proposals should go ahead and what the charging policy will be from April 2016.
You can take part in this consultation by completing a questionnaire in one of three ways:
